Currently whiteboard filenames are searchable in global search but text within the whiteboards is not included as part of search.
A whiteboard may contain a decent amount of text that would be useful for finding relevant whiteboard files. Without this you’re limited to searching by the filename which may not have the context you’re looking for.
I would really like this as I’ve tried to use Whiteboards as a first step to thinking through ideas/problems but I end up returning to something like Obsidian + Exclidraw because I can search and find content across whiteboards.
With Fibery whiteboard content I don’t trust that I will easily be able to find the content I’m looking for in the future
Whiteboards seem to remain a blackbox, despite the paradigm of seamless connectivity and automatic insight scaffolding.
Afaics, they can be searched once one is on them, but not globally, from the outside. So whitebox when you are at the right place, blackbox in all other cases.
With all the upgrades WBs receive in their substance, this would make this missing function/integration more and more precious for practical use, systems connectivity and insight generation!
