In table view, add ability to click anywhere on row (that's not editable) to open the entity

The only way you can open the entities currently is by clicking the small arrow in the “name” column, unless I’m missing something? Hoping it would behave similar to list views, where an entity can be clicked almost anywhere to open it.

How do you imagine it would be possible to edit the contents of cells in the table, if clicking anywhere caused the entity to be opened (rather than causing the cell to enter edit mode)?

Ideally, only clicking cells that are not editable would open the entity.

Alternatively, maybe (rapidly) double clicking a cell would allow it to be edited, but a single click would open it?

I think that used to be the behaviour, and people complained that the friction was unnecessary

Yeah, only opening when clicking on non-editable cells would be more preferable I think. And that said, if I just wanted to select a single cell to copy it, it would be annoying that it opened when I clicked it.

Maybe double clicking any part of an entity that isn’t editable would be the best scenario? Our pain point is that we often need to hunt for the name column (or even worse, just the arrow if we’re hiding the name) which can involve alot of scrolling, whereas in list and board views it’s a simple click.
