How are you using Fibery Email integration?

I setup the Fibery Email integration about a year ago and a few bugs, missteps, and failed ideas made me abandon using the Email database in my workspace.

I do regularly use Fibery to create and send emails using an Outbox database and a button-triggered automation.

I’m curious about what other ways I might be able to extract value from the email integration. How are y’all using it and what problems has it solved for you?

We use it for the following things

  1. Link emails threads to accounts in our CRM, thus all communication with a lead or customer is easily accessible
  2. Link feedback from emails to features and insights

  1. We use it for automatic notifications to certain people outside our workspace.
  2. We import and organize certain account records that we receive via email to assist our finance team in reporting.
  1. For this usecase how does the email database itself support you?
  2. Are these manually linked or do you have any automations that help you here?
  1. We don’t use the email database for this. It’s just the integration that automatically sends emails via rules.
  2. All the organization and linking happens via rules. They trigger from something in the name or the body of the email. I’ve added fields to the email database that function as tags, and the rules provide the correct values for these fields. I don’t do any manual linking.

If there was possibility to reply to email I would use it instead of Thunderbird :slight_smile:

Is there a masterclass or are there templates on emails, for people who don’t know how to use them (or aren’t programmers)?
