Google Sheets Integration

Hello! A Google Sheets integration would be valuable. Since using Fibery, this need keeps resurfacing regularly. Here’s why:

  • It’s a data source - We collect information there and multiple teams use it

  • Lightweight ETL - Other tools have integrations or extensions for syncing data (like Mixpanel). It’s easy to link sheets, enrich data, and transform it with formulas to ensure it flows into Fibery correctly

Current use case: I want to integrate Mixpanel with Fibery to get aggregated product usage data and link it to CRM companies. Once-a-month or once-a-week sync would work fine.

Nice to have: Two-way sync would let me send data from Fibery back to Mixpanel. We calculate some company metrics by linking data from other sources, and having these in Mixpanel would be beneficial.

Is it just me or Fibery moderators just don’t give a sh1t about our recommendations. I understand that Fibery is still in its early stages but there does seem to be a coldness vibe, like “I don’t have time to engage with you users and your annoying feedback, just let me build what I think this platform needs.”

I’ve found them to be quite responsive and transparent. They have a roadmap here, and it shows how high the demand is for certain features. There are a lot of requests, and the devs need to prioritize. Some features have workarounds (for example with scripting or a creative use of relations), and so might not be the highest priority. There might also be technical reasons why a feature is not viable. For example, I made a strong request for offline capabilities, but the devs let me know why it was unlikely to ever be implemented (essentially needing a redo on significant portions of the stack). It was certainly a bummer for my team, but I at least understand why that’s the case.
