Can we get forms in dashboards?
I am slowly replacing my folders with multiple views and combining these views into dashboards. Much of the data in these views/dashboards comes from user-submitted forms (like travels and equipment usage). Is there a way to insert (or are you planning to add) form support?
You can set up forms in the + new menu now, so that’s what I use. The only thing is that the New Entity button at the button is so much easier to see and therefore click for the average user, but that one doesn’t bring up the form…

I think it would need similar tech under the hood. To get “Context forms” to work. Not sure.
Where do you see this?
I dont get the + or the Forms option anywhere on the Dashboards, only the Add Widget option with Views, but no option to actually add a form to the Dashboard.
Or are you refering to Forms that open up from inside a View? That I know about. I really meant adding a Form as a Widget
No friend, these are very different.
Indeed different, but dashboards can be Context Views, and then all the embedded views are context views. For that to work, we need forms to have a “Context Default” or something along those lines.
Technically it can be added without, but then it would be incomplete. Things added in the form would not be automatically related to the context they are in.
