I have a view that shows an overview of all outstanding Tasks across several spaces (eg, Sales/Tasks, Marketing/Tasks, Delivery/Tasks). I liked this feature in ClickUp - called “Everything”.
The challenge is to distinguish which tasks belong to which space in the Filters. What would help if there was an option to show the Space name somewhere next or before the actual Database name in Filters.
PS: It would be also be helpful to add a field showing the space name or space abbr.
I know it doesn’t address your direct question/request, but I’m curious why you have multiple databases all serving as a store of ‘tasks’?
What are your reasons for not using a single db?
Hey Chris, They sit in different domains (spaces) and they don’t belong to my actively used CRM space. Certainly, I could merge everything into just 1 space “Business”. But it’s going to be a big mess.
What distinguishes the tasks in different domains?
Note: the space where a db lives is largely irrelevant, given that you can add views of entities in any space, with whatever filtering (or access control) is needed for the views to be useful to specific stakeholders.
What is the mess you fear?
