Email Integration account field + Multiple logins "bug"

I’ve just started building an email app to replace notion mail as it was recently sunset. We have multiple email logins, each with many different aliases and “send as” addresses. I’ve run into an issue where it is difficult to filter by each login. We have 3 business logins and a basic requirement of an email app is to be able to filter emails to what are to/from each account login.

I propose adding an “Account” field which records which account the email is associated with originally. I’m unsure about the implications for emails between accounts - whether they should be duplicated or not.

Also, currently if you have multiple acounts logged in the “multiple accounts” section doesn’t display the first account logged in. It would be good to see the 1st login here too - perhaps it would be worth always displaying this section and calling it “accounts”

Thanks yet again!

This is exactly what was mentioned here as well: Ability to set Static/Constant Custom Values per Email Integration "Connected account" (when there are multiple connected accounts synced by same person)

This sounds like quite needed functionality, I hope it gets attention soon, it makes a lot of sense as it’s important data.

I think they shouldn’t, and should be handled the same way “Synced by” is handled when different Fibery users sync their personal emails, its a to-many relation. So if two users have the same email, it shows that both of them synced it.

This is due to the way integrations work. There’s 1 “main” account synced, then the email integration (and maybe a few others?) have the ability to add multiple accounts. But this is not common across the board.

I had no idea Notion sunset the email app.
