Documents cover image

Hi everyone :vulcan_salute:

I have been playing around with Fibery the last couple of days. Amazing piece of art!

I really enjoy the clean UI, but sometimes I would love to place a cover image on my documents to give them personality.

Maybe I am too used to standard tools like Notion, ClickUp or Coda. Those kind of document aesthetics is what I missed the most here (Toggles, in Tex formulas, tables or views without the embedded frames)

In my opinion, it creates a huge visual change for the regular user, like me. Maybe I am not alone in here, maybe it also helps attract people who enjoy giving different looks to their docs/wikis

Such basic things will help attract even less tech-savvy customers to Fibery, imho.

I believe this is in the works, if I remember some recent discussions around upcoming features. I’m sure someone on the Fibery team will jump in and correct my foggy memory if I’m wrong!

The files field is getting an update soon. This could be a nice addition to that! A “Display as: Entity Cover” could be cool.

I guess if you have the option to turn it on and off you can make happy the people (maybe just a few idk) who likes visual accents and also turn it off to keep the actual clean look.
