Multiple members of my team have run into this issue recently. When Fibery is open on a laptop that is docked with multiple screens & then the laptop is un-docked, the Fibery app continues to try to open on an offscreen monitor.
Maximize doesn’t seem to be an option; Fibery is the only application this happens for, so it does seem somehow related to the application itself.
Does this problem occur on macOS or on Windows?
The issue is affecting various Lenovo devices running Windows 11 OS.
same here, cant fix it under win 11…
Finally got it sorted after all this time, so posting in case it helps anyone else. What worked for me was forcing the shortcut itself to always open maximized. On Windows 11:
-
Right-click the Fibery icon in your taskbar. You’ll get a tiny menu with Fibery, Pin to taskbar, Close window.
-
Now right-click on the Fibery entry inside that menu (yes, a right-click inside a right-click — Windows is weird). A second menu pops out with Open, Run as administrator, Pin to Start, Pin to taskbar, Properties.
-
Click Properties. That opens the shortcut dialog on the Shortcut tab.
-
Find the Run: dropdown and switch it from Normal window to Maximized.
-
While you’re in there — click Open File Location and peek at the folder. You’ll see something like app-4.0.0, app-4.0.3, etc. Check that the Start in: path on the Properties dialog matches the newest app-x.y.z folder. Mine was still pointing at an older version after an auto-update that wasn’t there anymore, which I think is part of why the window position was getting stale. Fix it if it’s wrong.
-
Apply, OK, close the app, and then relaunch from the taskbar.
After that it’s been opening maximized on my primary monitor every time. Not a real fix from Fibery’s side, but at least it’s not playing hide-and-seek anymore.
