Please add a cell background feature to the standard table component. It’s not possible to highlight headings or other cells.

Just came across this feature request as I wanted to re-iterate my request for:
- Table cells to allow for background colour
- Tables having better (sticky) headers
As a big user of text tables and somebody grateful for the past improvements, this is something useful. It’s also something I’ve been hoping for a long time. 
Any chance to add these two refinements? Pretty please?
