Cannot create unique entity on the whiteboard via copy/duplicate?

When I copy (CTRL-C) and paste (CTRL-V) an entity card, or duplicate (CTRL-D) an entity card, it seems to just create another instance on the whiteboard of the source entity, when I am expecting it to be a new, unique entity just like every other part of Fibery. Is this a bug?

Creating a new entity from the menu each time is very inefficient because you have you pick the database each time, so I’d prefer to just clone an existing entity that is already in the database I want and rename it to something unique after the fact. Is there any easy way to do that?

This is not a bug; duplicate is not supported yet, along with several other actions for entities. We are working on an update.
