It seems that randomly these notifications become disabled (The toggle turned off so only Inbox is enabled). I’m not really sure what would be causing it as I usually only notice it after I’ve realized I haven’t seen one after I’ve gotten a few new mentions and hadn’t seen one recently. I go into the notifications settings and check and it is toggled off and I have to toggle it back on.
It has happened probably 10-15 times over the past year of using Fibery.
If it is something in the browser causing them to disable, maybe add a setting which would add some kind of notice to the inbox if they are turned off so I can know quicker to go turn them back on?
The browser notifications setting is per browser and depends on each browser’s configuration. This means that if you enable notifications in Chrome, they won’t automatically be enabled in Firefox — or if you change your browser settings, it may also affect notifications. Can that be the issue? Or you faced the problem in the same browser without any extra actions or changes?
I only use the browser notifications on 2 computers (desktop and laptop). I use Fibery exclusively in Firefox on both computers. I’ve had the issue where it has been disabled on both of those at different times.
That said, it has been about 4 or 5 months now since the last time it happened so it has been smooth sailing since then.
