Auto set fields to align with the auto-linking in relation view

If I have two databases that are auto linked with their Name field. Lets say they are many to many.
In the relation view inside of the entity, I can create a related entity, but it will actually not conform to the filter applied. It will not set the Name to be the name needed for the auto-linking feature to correctly auto-link. So when I refresh, that entity disappears from the relation view. Inconsistent with the rest of the times that relations work. I’m not sure if this is a bug or a feature request. If it is unclear let me know!

I think I will just need to turn off autolinking for now and make my own autolinking using automations.

And now I also see I can’t disable to auto-linking so I need to set up all the views again with a new field

It shouldn’t be possible to create an entity from an auto-linked relation field. What type of relation view are you using?

List view, but its there in all.
I’ll note that (just) the list view indeed removed the “Link or create” button at the bottom. But there is still the big plus button that is clickable in the top right.

OK, yeah. We should not allow it :frowning:

Okay thanks for letting me know! I’ll change to automations then.
