Currently the Fibery Chrome Extension works as follows:
When the user has selected text on a webpage, the extension inserts that as plain text in the Extension form field when clicked.
I tried to manually replace that with markdown, and the created entity nicely shows the correct rich text formatting in the Description field.
So why wouldn’t the extension just allow including markdown? When I use an extension ‘copy text as markdown’ then still the extension strips markdown characters.
