Hopefully pretty self explanatory.
Make a typo when creating a new entity? You need to click the entity, which opens a column that takes up half the screen, then mouse over to the name and click it, then make your name edits and finally and close/minimize the column to fix the typo and return to where you started.
It’s very jarring to have to do so much work for such a simple and common real world scenario!
You can already set the name directly within relation views when you create a new entity, so I don’t understand why that name editing interface couldn’t just get toggled again with a double click.
You can already do this within a table view by simply double clicking the name cell, but not in any other views.
Can this functionality be added to List and Board view at the very least? While I’d prefer to trigger the name editing interface with a double click, I’d also be content with having an “Rename” option in the entity context menu, just like is available in the left sidebar.
