Currently the Rich Text in synced Entities for Integrations are read-only. This is probably sensible. However comments are allowed on selected text in an integrated DB Entity. Great, this is helpful! Unfortunately other Fibery superpowers like Linked Highlights/Link to Entity do not work. Although such a function is technically “altering” the underlying text in some sense, it is no more so the case than with comments, really. So I think any such “non-destructive” annotation-like feature should in fact be allowed. You already have to deal with sync issues on Comments. Why not also allow Highlights and Link to Entity?
Yes this would be really helpful. Especially for the Readwise integration. Since I often want to link different sentences within a highlight to different entities in Fibery
