What helps just a bit is to hide the sidebar and clicking the Page Width icon - but this isn’t helpful enough as the column which isn’t present on the screenshot (because it’s on a far right) still isn’t shown
Just found that if I select the text while moving the mouse to the right, then it scrolls to the right. But appearing the horizontal scrollbar would be more intuitive
