I suggest adding an option to remove or disable folder icons. This would allow users to add a custom icon (as text/emoji) directly into the folder name, making it look much better visually (it will allow set colored icons).
I also suggest adding an option to hide the icons that indicate data types in columns and other plasces. This should specifically apply to custom end-user views rather than the databases themselves. This would allow users to add their own custom colored icons to distinguish between different columns that share the same data type.
