This is a very small feature request, but to make the UI in the Fibery workspace a little bit better, it would be nice if we could give the icons of a folder/smart folder a colour. It is possible to do this for tables and other views inside the folder, but not the folder itself. You could use the same mechanism for the folders as is used for views. Would this be possible?
There are several types of things in the sidebar that can have icons (spaces, databases, folders, views, etc.)
By enforcing no-colour for folders, it does help distinguish them (just like spaces can be distinguished by having a coloured background).
Of course, Fibery does like to offer flexibility, so I suppose we should give users the choice to add colour to everything, even if it means risking ambiguity in the sidebar
That makes sense. Personally, a colour helps me to quickly see which type of data is in that folder. But I can also see you would opt for “no colour”, so you can see that it is a folder and not a view or a space.
