How to enumerate and search the Workspace via API?

The API documentation doesn’t say much about Folders, Documents, or the “Left Menu”.

Is there a way to –

  1. Enumerate/walk/search the Workspace as reflected in the Left Menu (Spaces, DBs, Views, Folders)
  2. Search for a Folder or a Document by name
  3. Enumerate the contents of a Folder
