Mentionlinks to Header links in rich text fields do not display the corresponding header, when the containing rich text field is not part of the recently used entity view tab. The multiple Entity Views feature is not well integrated with the Header Links feature.
How to reproduce:
-
Add the Description field to a unique (pinned) Entity View Tab, and do not include it in other tabs.
-
For example, you may have tabs ‘Summary’, ‘Description’, ‘Context’, etc.
-
Click on a header link in the Description field, thus copying the URL of that specific text header to the clipboard.
-
In another entity and rich text field, past the link, so it becomes a Mention Link. The Mention link contains the URL of the target entity including its header link.
-
Clicking that Mention Link will redirect to the target entity its most recently accessed Entity View Tab. This often is NOT the Entity View Tab that contains the header the Mention Link points to.
Expected behavior:
-
The corresponding Entity View Tab is opened that contains the rich text field with target header.
-
If the target rich text field containing the target header is presen in more than one Entity View Tab, open the first instance of such tab.
