Group by on timeline fails if using lookup

Hello,
Possibly an edge case but what can I say, I’m an innovator.

Thought it would be handy to have a timeline that showed the project dates grouped along with its related tasks underneath. So I created a dropdown field on project called grouptest. Then went into tasks and created a lookup field also called grouptest.

Went to timeline view, added both databases to the timeline, group by “grouptest” was visible but clicking on it did nothing. So it’s a buuuug I suppose? Not urgent to fix, just highlighting it FYI.

Again, no rush for me on this - this was more of an experiment than a real need.
