Hey Ron!

Can you describe what we’re seeing that presents an issue?
At first glance, it looks like you have a text field with the value FT and when you select the field, it is expanding to indicate it allows more characters.
Is this not the case? What is the desired behavior?

Hey!

I cropped the video not to show data, but if you look at when the owner field opens I think it’ll make more sense.

So after I fill “FT” I try to click on the owner field to fill it in. But because the text field gets smaller, I’m actually no longer clicking on the owner field. This makes me need to do two clicks instead of the expected one. It’s a small thing, but being called “quick add” it makes the process less quick and less pleasant.

Lmk if that makes sense.

I can recreate the bug. l🐞
It only happens when the User field is after the text box. In this case the User field requires two clicks to activate.
Functional workarounds:

  • moving the user field in front of the text box removes the two click requirement
  • Filling in other field types such as dates and multi-selects before selecting the people field removes the two click requirement.
