Thanks Michael, it’s a great side-by-side comparison. Perhaps Fibery’s Documents will one day be as powerful as Notion’s, without Notion’s limitations

I just read the new comparison write-up. Love it!

It’s easy to overlook some of the subtle but significant differences between Notion and Fibery.

What stands out to me is how rapidly Fibery’s design has been evolving - I believe it’s on track to match or even surpass Notion’s aesthetic appeal while maintaining its functional advantages.

I’m particularly looking forward to the Gallery View and Widgets (Home Page in Fibery) features coming to Fibery. These additions will significantly bridge the gap between the platforms, especially when it comes to user experience and accessibility for non-technical team members.

A few additional comparison points that might be valuable to include:

  • Forms functionality: How do both platforms handle form creation, submission workflows, and integration with other workspace components? This is essential for teams collecting structured data from internal or external sources.
  • Export capabilities: How comprehensively can users export their workspace data from each platform? Do exports include attached files, whiteboards, relationships, and custom views? This becomes crucial when considering potential migration paths.
  • Multilingual support: How do both tools handle non-English languages and localization features?
  • Company stability and vision: What can we learn about the longevity and direction of each company? Many promising productivity tools have disappeared after acquisitions, often leaving users with limited migration time. Fibery’s transparent roadmap and community engagement suggest a different approach than Notion’s venture-backed growth strategy.

These factors, beyond just features and UI, often become decisive when organizations commit to a platform for the long term.
