Nope. But we will not reveal the name
I must be in second place at least

Haha, I was worried I might be up there too . Plus the AI knows I haven’t completed any tasks this week.
@mdubakov Definitely a good read, bummer the team felt so bad about highlights but glad you guys are feeling back on track! While not every feature idea makes sense, it is pretty awesome to see that the roadmap is basically just the top 5 feature requests. Really excited for Fibery in the new year and looking forward to what you guys cook up!

I appreciate the transparent look at what went right, and especially what went wrong.
Existing customers met the new release without any excitement, for most of them feedback management was just a side use case.
That was exactly my reaction as well. I could feel how excited the Fibery team was about v2.0, but for us feedback management is nice but it wouldn’t even crack the top 20 of most needed features.
AI in Fibery is not a pure failure, but we had greater expectations
I think the potential here is amazing. Following the “Fibery as our company’s operating system” approach, as long as we put all the necessary information in, I would expect the AI to answer questions such as
- What is our vacation policy?
- How many vacation days do I have left?
- What problem does the Product X solve?
- Who can I ask about feature Y?
- etc
On our side there’s still a lot of data that we need to feed into it, but one point of failure when it comes to AI is parsing PDF attachments. In some situations our partners provide specs as PDFs (or word docs) and if an AI were to be a knowledge aggregator for a particular product, then parsing those attachments would be a must.
There were 52 weeks in 2024, and we shipped 51 releases.
I think you should pat yourself, and the entire team, on the back. This is an incredible achievement. One of the best things about Fibery is that it feels like it’s always improving. With Notion I had no idea what to expect and when. With Jira we had ONE LITERAL DECADE waiting for something as simple as summing up story points per epic.
With Fibery, every Thursday is like a small Christmas present.
