Notion does this very nicely! Yes, you can get the total if you click on a pie chart, and you can use the “KPI” report. But I feel like a KPI number with no other info is a waste of space. But having both in one allows for quickly seeing an overview.

To piggyback on this, I’d also like to request a “radar/spider” style chart.

I’d love this feature. I’m coming from Notion and it is very useful to see the total in the middle of the chart. In the same graph, you have the idea of total and proportion.
