Probably never voiced this as the work-around is easy via a custom filter or the free search, but I must say it always felt like an unnecessary (minor) inconvenience having to search something in a table like this.
If CTRL-F would work for everything in a table and not just what’s visible on the screen this wouldn’t be an issue.

Anyway great to hear about yet another upcoming QoL improvement

This will be a very welcomed change.
One small suggestion I would make: the search results should keep the hierarchy as well.
