Please add the option of having a default value for People fields. This would be very useful for automatically assigning a specific person to a task on creation.
In my case I would use it as a workaround to have tasks show up in “My Work” widget without me having to assign myself to every task manually. This is my workflow since it is a personal workspace.
Yes, that will be my workaround for now. Is there a reason default values cannot be added globally for (almost) all field types? Maybe except for files, documents and whiteboards. Otherwise I think it makes sense to add it to all types.
