"Default" form behaviour

Hi, a couple of things.

  1. I have created a form for each entity. I want these to be default for all entry points. When the “+ New Entity” in the table is clicked, why doesn’t this cause the pop-up to appear? Can that be turned on somewhere? And the same for the calendar view.
  2. When creating an entity from within a create entity modal form, the stacking modal doesn’t apply a layout. Can this be set?
  3. Is there a way to make an Edit form, to allow people to update entities without having access to the views?
  4. Can I hide the create views from users, so they can’t go directly to the form view? I don’t want to confuse them with two different appearances for the same data entry.
  1. You can define the default form to be used in table view

  2. Can you provide a screenshot to show what you mean.

  3. Currently, forms can only be used to add new records.

  4. What do you mean by ‘hide the create views’? Again, a screenshot (or video) might be useful

You can see that the default modal applies, but it has different behaviour when the row is clicked. Can there be an override to the behaviour so it creates the same pop-up when they click the row?

This form has the ability to create relationship entities and assign them. The nested modal is shown in compact layout. There doesn’t seem to be a way to change it?

Can the Full layout be specified as the default for all entities? I don’t think I’ll ever use the compact.

The “Create Person” form view is required to create the default form used for adding, but I don’t want users to be able to click into it. They should do all of their work from within a table view, because they lose valuable context and the ability to search (to prevent duplicates) otherwise
