Declutter the entity display by grouping fields in collapsible field groups.
Currently the fields, especially many to many relation fields which cannot be hidden, are taking up a lot of space and is a big UX tension.
In general, I see that users (including myself) work mostly with title and richt text content of entities.
Although Fibery apears more structure oriented, day to day work with Fibery requires a lot of clicks and the fields are a big distraction. Drupal solved this also with the field groups module.
Is this the only feature request for field groups? If so, let’s revive it! The other related feature request is closed now and we don’t have the ability to create sections in entity layouts or toggle them.
I think Notion has a simple and effective way of doing this but Smartsuite is best in class
The idea is similar to a Notion function (customize page layout) that allows sectioning of fields in each page. Some pages might have too many fields to scroll down to, and having sections will help organize them better.
