BUG: Rule Filter incorrectly prevents Rule from firing

When I add this filter to the “When entity created” Rule, the Rule does not fire when new entities are created:

“Rules” is a simple Text field. I am manually creating a new “Page” entity with an EMPTY Rules field, via a Table view (so the Rules field clearly DOES NOT CONTAIN the string "[CLONED]").

And yet this Rule is never triggered. :confused:

If I remove the Filter, then the Rule IS triggered upon entity creation.

Yes, there is a bug that ‘does not contain’ will not give the right result for an empty text field.
Until we have a fix, you can add OR ‘is empty’ filter.
