When using the “board” that is shown in every project.
The count of objects is the total count across the system, rather than the objects related to the project currently being viewed. This makes the “count of objects” field not useful, as one expects it to match the count of the records returned to the view (e.g. 3 tasks)

I’ve noticed this too, would be great to see a fix! Could be very handy for scoping the size of iteration planning.
I just found this post when looking around in the forum because I know it’s come up before and I thought it was in another thread in fact but I can’t find that one now…I might have actually just discussed this with support. This would be super useful to get fixed plaguing a lot of my boards as they get longer with more content in Fibery as months go by. Thanks!
