April 16, 2026 / 🩍 Automatically link entities with more operators, Text color in rich text, Filter and sort relation selectors in Forms, Share with all users with a particular email domain

A bulky release today with some quality of life improvements and
zero AI features (not sure whether it is good or bad though :smiling_face_with_tear:).

Automatically link entities with more operators

Before, you could use only = when describing Automatic Link Rule for a Relation Field. We extended the list of allowed operators. Now you also have:

  • For Relation Fields: to-one relation is in to-many relation
  • For Text Fields: starts with, ends with, contains
  • For Date Fields: date field is within some date range

There were certain requests in the community about allowing writing arbitrary Formulas when defining Link Rules. We’ve considered this option and so far decided against it due to performance limitations.

Check User Guide for more details. If you still miss some operator or possibilities in this area, please let us know.

:money_bag: Operators beyond “equals” are in Pro plan. Automatic Relation Linker already puts considerable load on our system. Especially when linked Databases are large — which is common. More sophisticated operators increase that load further.

Text color & highlight in rich text

You can finally change text color and mix it with highlights to draw attention to what matters most. Nothing more to say.

Filter and sort relation selectors in Form View (experimental)

Now you can filter and sort relations, single- and multi-select fields in Forms. It makes forms actually usable, now you can narrow huge lists of options to exactly what’s relevant. You can:

  • Hide inactive, archived, or past entities from relation fields. It means no more closed job positions, expired courses, or past events cluttering the options.
  • Filter out former team members from user fields.
  • Set context better, like show only sprints linked to the current project, show users from a specific team, or channels belonging to a selected partner.
  • Sort relation options alphabetically or by date instead of the default “database creation order”.

Enable Filter and Sort relations in Forms feature in Settings → Experimental Lab.

Share with all users with a particular email domain

Now you can share a Space, a Database, or an Entity with everyone who has a certain email domain. Two examples where this should be useful:

  1. Safer sharing within the org. Instead of sharing stuff with everyone in the workspace, share with all your employees. For example, we used to share most of our Spaces with all workspace members — until we had to invite our external accountants to a single Space. Now we share with everyone having the @fibery.io domain instead.
  2. Easier sharing outside the org. When collaborating with a client, share Projects with all workspace users having their email domain, not just specific individuals. If you decide to invite more people from their side later, you won’t need to think about access.

A few things to keep in mind:

  • These email domain User Groups appear automatically once you invite people into your workspace (Guests are ignored).
  • Personal email domains like @gmail.com or @yahoo.com are excluded.
  • As with any Group sharing, this functionality is only available to our beloved customers on Pro and Enterprise plans.

Duplicate entity with all nested collections

Now when you duplicate an entity, all nested entities will be duplicated as well. Imagine you have a project with 20 tasks. When you duplicate a project, all 20 tasks will be duplicated.

Moreover, duplicate works 5 levels deep. Let’s say, you have Project → Features → Tasks → Work Items structure. When Project is duplicated, all features, all tasks and all work items will be duplicated as well.

The limit here is 1000 entities in total, so for very deep and wide hierarchies it will not work.

:people_with_bunny_ears: TIP: Entity Templates

Deep duplication allows you to use some entities as templates. For example, you can create Project with Tasks and duplicate it every time you need to start new project of this type.

Whiteboard: New shapes panel and ArchiMate support

Finding and using shapes is now much easier. Click More shapes to open a side panel with all shapes and icons in one place. You can search across everything instantly or browse by category.

We’ve added support for the ArchiMate toolkit. You can plan and visualize how your organization works, from business processes to apps and infrastructure.

More icon sets for popular services and design systems are coming soon (Bootstrap, Unicons, Phosphor, AWS, Kubernetes, Azure, and Google Cloud)

:butterfly: Improvements

  • Make(dot)com integration: Added support for the File field in make. You can now upload and download Fibery files across all actions.
  • Search:
    • keyword search required all words in a query to be present in the title. If a user searched “fix login bug” but the title was “fix login issue”, they got nothing. We’ve changed title matching from AND (all words required) to OR (any word matches) and the results are ranked by how many words were matched.
    • Created At and Is Final filters are available for recent items.
  • Intercom integration: It’s now possible to add tags to Intercom contacts from automations in Fibery. We use it to automatically push useful customer-related info from Fibery to Intercom, saving context switching.
  • AI HTML Reports. Now when AI generates HTML report, you will be able to create Embed View with this report right there.
  • Mobile: Tabs behavior improved inside Fibery UI in several places.

:shrimp: Fixed Bugs

  • Gantt View:
    • The third+ level entities don’t display in relation Gantt
    • Batch drag and drop doesn’t fail on timeline & gantt if user doesn’t have edit permissions to some of the selected entities
  • Documents / Rich Text:
    • Empty Heading block should not show a placeholder in readonly mode
    • Hide private comments in the public spaces
    • Out of MemorycCrash on document parsing from MD. Having two -| fragments causes OOM crash. Crazy shit.
  • AI Agent:
    • Improve query performance
    • AI panel fails to be loaded if search is opened
  • Files:
    • File drop zone in form file field is jittering in Brave browser
    • User can upload file to related Files field if he has read only permissions to the related entity
  • Lookups & Related Fields:
    • Don’t allow to pick relations from lookup collections
    • It’s impossible to show related loop to-many fields
    • Hide to-one loop relations
    • Wrong header is shown in tooltip when hover on related field unit on views
    • Related fields are not disabled if user doesn’t have edit permission to the related entity
    • Scroll doesn’t work in Fields settings popup
  • Browser (Chrome) Extension: Chrome extension stops grabbing the page title and page selection
  • Table View: Files disappears from Table for databases used for grouping when display as Gallery is selected

P.S. What is your favorite beast :gorilla: in this release?

This is all great! Love the possibility of sharing with domain. Highlight is a great add. Love this: AI HTML Reports. Now when AI generates HTML report, you will be able to create Embed View with this report right there.
Also, the AI performance improvements over the last few weeks has definitely been noticed, and it has practically unlocked some integrations using N8N into our accounting and invoicing and project intake that wasn’t really possible for us before. Good stuff!

Thank you! These are some big wins for day-to-day UX.

What’s the primary expectation on how we will turn on/use new colors?

Is it possible to apply text style changes while typing (slash command or other shortcut) or that after text is created/generated we are editing the text and applying styles?

My favourite for sure! Opens so many use cases.

Will this be aligned with the existing field relation filters and sort? At the moment this filter is set per form view, but in quick-add forms it gets pulled from the relation’s existing sorts and filters. I think I prefer it being pulled from existing personally, and not set per form. If it’s seprate it adds another thing that needs to be configured, where it usually will be the same.

Is this fix also on the roadmap? "Filters aren’t applied because they have missing â€˜đ‘„â€™ dynamic values"

/color command will be added in the next release

This is such a large improvement! 1000s of :hugs: to the team. This is probably the biggest issue each of our users kept coming across hundreds of times a day.

I agree. Or at least have the option to pull from the main “relation’s existing sorts and filters” or override for the form, since I can see the need for stricter filters for Forms due to their possibility to be shared publicly.

We will think about it

So happy about the auto-linking improvements! Especially the relation condition ones.

Are “OR” conditions coming? or are those considered part of the arbitrary formulas you decided against so far?

Yes, I was going to ask about this too. Relation filters in forms is nice to have, but until they can use the contextual relationships within of the “draft” entity that is being actively created there will always be a huge amount of friction and confusion for our users.

Great update !

Cool too !

It’s also a great update. I’m eagerly awaiting a major update to the Form view.

That’s great ! Until now, I was using an automation rule to add automatically our new users of our domain into a global group.

Thanks for the great work and keep going !

This is an absolutely stacked release! (And I’m sorry in advance for my excessive use of the word huge in this comment!)

I’ve been waiting for this. Really nice to see! I would have liked to be able to write some text in, but I will continue using formula helper fields in my databases for this purpose.

Nice little update for visuals.

This is going to be huge! I setup forms to be used from the New menu because the actual form view was pretty useless. Also adding my voice to the requests for this to be fixed when creating entities:

I note on the roadmap that you’re also planning to force add entity via form, which I’m eagerly awaiting as well (along with several other exciting things you have planned)!

This will be absolutely huge as well. I note you have Entity Templates on the roadmap. Once this is done, will we be able to duplicate via automations?

I’m sure this will come in very handy too!

Thank you as always for the fantastic (weekly!) release. It’s very much appreciated.

We thought about adding “OR” conditions via UI just as we have on Filter control. But didn’t find much feedback for this particular improvement.

We will add this possibility in the future if enough feedback will gather up.

Such an awesome update! Excited to see where I can apply these new automatic links instead of some of the workarounds I had.

For the search update, is there anyway this can also be updated for view searches? I would really love this. It is constantly confusing my team when we can’t remember the exact name
