Idea that might be especially useful for larger workspaces and teams.
When a workspace grows and the system architecture becomes more complex, architects often need a safe place to experiment with structure changes — things like fields, automations, views, or data models — without risking disruption to the production workspace used by the whole team.
Some platforms (for example Airtable with their App Sandbox) allow architects to experiment with structural changes in a separate sandbox/staging environment before applying them to the main system.
Something similar in Fibery could be extremely valuable, for example:
• an Architect Sandbox / Staging mode
• where architects can test schema changes, automations, or views
• without affecting the production workspace used by the team
This could help teams safely evolve complex workspaces over time while reducing the risk of breaking workflows for active users.
For growing teams and enterprise use cases, this kind of safe experimentation layer can become very important as the system becomes more sophisticated.
