Sometimes AI prompts can take 30+ minutes. Allowing it to keep running after the user closes the tab or reloads would be great. Currently when the tab reloads, the chat stops. (Its nice because there’s no “Stop” button after starting, but ideally there’s a stop button, and reloading/closing page doesn’t stop it.)
what prompt you have?
Haha, bulk delete: Make native bulk editing actions more reliable and faster for large datasets.
It does it batches, like I would, but automatically.
AI does not stop on tab reload.
There are certain limits though on execution, like how many let’s say “iterations” ai can make for one prompt. If this limit is exceeded, ai will fail with an error. But you should see this error in your chat, even if you open tab with this chat later.
I see, my bad. Even though it runs, it doesn’t send any message after the run. See screen recording:
Also, does that mean there is no way to stop the AI after you send a message at all then?
Also note that the error: data used 20/20 steps, but still could not solve the task completely ![]()
only shows when refreshing the page, it doesn’t throw the error without refreshing…
I was waiting for 3 hours thinking it was working when in reality it was doing nothing…
