Add option to find and jump to original location of items in Favorites

I have a lot of items in Favorites and sometimes I forget where they are originally located, especially when there are many apps, folders, subfolders, and views in the workspace.

So it would be great if there’s a way to find or jump to the original location of that favorite view

But I discovered a workaround: Use the search field, type in the title of the view, and click on it in the search results. Then the left side menu automatically scrolls down and highlights the particular view in its original location.

If there’s another workaround, please share!

Hi!
Yep, there are some although not sure they will be better than the one you’ve shared.

  1. The name of the App, where this View lives is written about the data

  2. You can just customize the URL

Btw, would be glad to know, how this helps you on daily usage and when do you search for it!

Thanks for this @Polina_Zenevich !

I have so many browser extensions that I didn’t see that the specific location is in the URL haha

Another workaround: “Unstar” the item, after 1-2 seconds, it will scroll down to the original location. Then just “star” it again
