I think this could be quite useful but tricky to do well. But what I think that could be useful is to be able to check a box in the multi-entry adding dialogue to select to be alerted when opening the board, if based on the query, items should be added or removed.
So to store the query with the whiteboard.
And, to be honest, at least for me, I would not need this, if the Board View allows for drill-down
