It would be great do have a short URL for fibery entities along with the human readable long form
Context: trying to have QR code (pointing to the fibery URL) on inventory items on a small area 1cm x 1cm, if the URL is too long, the QR code gets too complex to reliably print and read from such a small area
Can you clarify - are you asking for the Fibery (address bar) URLs to be shorter, or asking that the URL field supports showing something other than the full URL?
If the former, I think it is not going to happen natively. If you need url shortening, then I suggest using a 3rd party service, e.g. https://tinyurl.com/

So it’s possible to shorten the URL by removing the task name, and just leaving the public id. In case someone in the future also needs this.
