Expected: Newly created option that is unselected should go back in to the list of options.
Result: The newly created option is hidden away until website reload or re-opened entity.
Happens on multi-select. Haven’t tested single select.

Strange question - does refresh help?
Refresh page or closing then reopening the entity makes it appear, yes.
If you mean refreshing permanently fixing it when trying to replicate, then no.
