I have a field with a hundred thousand related entities. This causes reports to time out, even if the field isn’t used in the report.
Easy fix: remove the field from the report.
But nothing in the UI shows this as the solution.
Maybe automatic detection and make the field red with an error message that it must be removed from the report.
Am curious why a single entity links to hundreds of thousands of others. What’s the setup/use case?
Aggregation the stats from ads by week. Formulas calculate faster than reports. Found this to work really well. Did the same for months. (+ auto linking)
