This is a rather picky request, but it would be great to reduce the load time of a new tab (to whatever your default home page is) from the “+” button in the top.
I’m wondering whether the homepage and/or sidebar would be able to be cached to achieve this. In my case, I maintain a document on the homepage which I use for quicklinks and getting to a commonly used page can feel a bit frictional when waiting for a second each time you open a new tab. This is a very commonly performed action for me, so I really notice waiting - even if it’s a short wait.
It’s a tiny thing, but if there’s a low-hanging solution for it, it would make the software feel a lot faster. Though perhaps I’m the only one here with ADHD
