On whiteboard, lines as shape option or "snap" hand-drawn pen line to straight line

Two separate ways to achieve straight lines on whiteboards. Putting both in one feature request, and would love Fibery team’s feedback on which is more likely to be implemented (maybe both if we’re so lucky!)

Either:

  1. Add lines as a shape option
  2. After drawing a line with the pen, have option to snap it to straight line. Inspired by this feature with Remarkable tablets

What does this mean?
Do you mean that amongst the list of shapes, there should be a vertical line option and a horizontal line option?
What is wrong with using the existing ‘connection lines’ option (with snap-to-grid if necessary)?

Ah, didn’t realize the connection line could exist outside a connection between objects in whiteboard. That definitely meets my use case.

Any further enhancements are lower priority given this solution, but I’d modify the original request to improve UX around the Connection Line being used as a shape. The snap to straight line for pen-drawn lines still would be handy too.
