July 24, 2025 / Create Views with AI and embed on Home page

This week, most of our love went into Views, both in terms of new functionality and fixed bugs.

Create Views with AI

Now you can create and configure Views using Fibery AI’s Build mode. Briefly describe what you’d like to see and enjoy the visualization:

Supported Views: Table, Board, Calendar, Timeline, Gantt, Feed, Map, Form, List, Report. AI can apply filters and sorting (but not color coding yet) as well as View-specific settings (e.g., Milestones on Timeline).

Embed Views on Home page

You can now fully personalize your Home page by adding custom Views and adjusting the layout to suit your preferences. Enable or disable widgets like My Work/Search, or embed your own Views and Documents directly into the Home Page. Your Home Page is now your personalized dashboard, configurable and unique to you.

Create Views from Dashboard (experimental)

Building your perfect Dashboard just got easier. You can now create new Views right from the Add Widget button, no need to pre-create them elsewhere.

Dashboards are still in beta, enable them in Settings → Experimental Lab to try.

Easily create entities in Gantt View

Previously, it was hard to discover how to add new entities, especially if there were no groups. Now you can use the + button on the left, or plan something directly on the right:

create entities on gantt fast

:butterfly: Improvements

  • Publicly shared entities now include Report abuse action to fight spam and phishing.

:shrimp: Fixed Bugs

  • Filters: Relation filter and sorting appears in empty list
  • Views:
    • ‘New’ button in toolbar should be disabled if nothing can be added
    • Search this view input jumps when opening or closing second panel
  • Table:
    • Entities do not get linked if new entity is created in self relation
    • Wrong icon in column for Button
    • Misaligned icon and text when entity is added to the table with sorting
  • Gantt:
    • Add “Hide all empty groups” option to the context menu on Gantt
    • It’s impossible to create new entity inside ‘No Database’ group/lane
  • List:
    • Wrong live updates in list when user adds new entity. Refresh or group uncollapsing is required to see correct data
    • Misleading items hovering when same database is mentioned some times in ‘+New’ menu
  • Timeline: Allow adding entities to timeline even when read-only dates used by other dbs
  • Dashboard: Wrong layout grid color in the dark theme
  • Quick add: In attempt to reorder Fields on a quick add form- mess up the Entity View instead
  • Whiteboard:
    • Cannot undo (CTRL+Z) with an AZERTY keyboard, on linux, using Firefox or Chrome
    • Cursor doesn’t change in pan mode
  • AI Agents: Add fixed answer for “What can you do?”
  • Search: Wrong hint text when embedding views in rich text
  • Navigation:
    • Route incorrectly changes when I rename db with the same name from another Space
    • Space not found screen blinks when renaming space quickly after creation
  • AI Text Assistant: Error on chatting with Fibery Assistant in Rich-Text
  • Billing: Invoice list uses hardcoded “$” but should be currency-aware
  • Notion integration: Error on sync if one of the field has an empty name (or with spaces only)
  • Linear integration: Linear API sends 200 when error encountered

I’m so happy to see the views get some love.
I’ve already started experimenting with turning some of my pages into dashboards. Maybe I’ll be able to convert my personal home page into Fibery’s home page? We’ll see!

Is Inbox going to be retired or folded into Home as a pre-built customize option at some point?

I just realized that Gantt view was updated to not left align fields directly on the name. I don’t know if this was part of this update or if I missed it sometime in the last month. Now, the fields are still bunched together, but they are in their own invisible column after the name column.

I’m going to submit a separate ideas post for some more gantt view wishlist items. But this is huge step forward! Sincerely, thank you so much

No plans to do that

I’m having trouble envisioning what the point of Inbox is when Home is now such a powerhouse (that’s probably because I’ve had trouble envisioning how to get much utility out of Inbox in general). I’d be interested to hear how others are thinking about Inbox now with the current capabilities of Home.

Inbox is useful as a notification center. People get notifications that include some context (like showing texts from comments), and custom messages from automations are easy to implement. For people working in many entities, the context is quite helpful for quickly orienting them to the task at hand. Especially when switching between tasks.

Agreed. We use Inbox as essentially our internal notification center.
