Google Maps Timeline + Fibery

Hi everyone :vulcan_salute: ,

I guess I am testing Fibery for not so common purposes, but I got this crazy Idea to import my Google Timeline.

Well, I managed to get a big JSON file from my google data. After realizing that it is over 18 million lines, I decided to give just a couple lines to the Fibery AI to analyze them and create a database with that information.

BOOM :collision:

The Location name will always be Unknown (unfortunately :smiling_face_with_tear: ), but it could create the Map view out of it by itself:

The next step will be to split the big JSON file into small chunks and turn them to CSV to import them.

Maybe someone has an idea how to improve this system. I just wanted to try it because I really love to see what places I visited, and Google Timeline is not available Online (just app).

:flexed_biceps: Keep Fiberying :flexed_biceps:

Cool map project! :world_map:

Quick reply will look longer to what you are doing and comment more on it, but first to get an address from coordinates you can use “reverse geocoding”.

This is one of the tools that uses this technique. You process batches of 500 rows of CSV here:

Alternatively here’s Google’s Reverse Geocoding API:

Hi @bear :vulcan_salute: ,

Thank you! I need to check that ASAP!! I would love to polish this database.

Thank you again, now is showing the name correctly and actually was able to import a bigger chunk of CSV data but still did it for each year to avoid issues.

Wow, great work! Feel free to share more here or to PM if you want to spar about this map that you made or if you have questions on how to do something with it. I am a geo professional and I like to see people combining the world of Fibery and the world of geo
