Fibery forum links open in Android app

The “Visit Topic” link in Fibery forum emails open the Fibery app instead of the forum website in the default browser.

The other links work, but seem to open the website in a separate web module instead of using the phone’s default browser app itself.

Actually, now I think this is the same issue as Tries to load last opened url every time (i think).

I’m on day 2 of Fibery trial. I’ve installed the Android app and it’s not working correctly, with a similar issue. See the video. @mdubakov @chr1sg

Could you please tell me your phone model, Android version, and which browser is set as your default? I think the issue is related to switching between apps, as the app should automatically open community links in your browser.

My default browser is Opera, which has been my main on this device from over a year. I own the Samsung Galaxy Fold 7.

Thank you! From what I can see in the video, our app can’t open the community link on the browser automatically, we wi’ll try to figure out what’s causing the issue.

For me, I’m on Galaxy S25, version 15 (One UI 7.0), and Brave is my default browser.

Are you also getting an “Unauthorized” error or the same problem when opening the community page?

When clicking on community links, the fibery app lens buy does not load the pages (understandably).
It looks like Fibery documentation loads in the app just fine.
I think the redirect needs to be more restrictive to exclude the community subdomain.

Noting that this issue is still active

We’re aware of this issue and are exploring the best way to fix it.

Update to this issue, now every time I open the Fibery app it loads to the last-opened page in the Fibery community that I viewed.

We don’t know yet how to fix this because of our workspace subdomain structure. We’ll come up with something.

I’m sure this has been considered, but the community could be moved to a subdirectory on the new .com tld to avoid being captured by the subdomain redirect.

Yes, that’s the current plan for the fix
