Entity Views option: vertically stacked

Problem:

Currently the Entity Views tabs are horizontally at the top.
Because most users use the panels side-by-side, Entity Views get out of sight.
Max amount of tabs visible in a panel (depending on entity view name length) 6 to 8 tabs.

Proposal:

Allow Entity Views tabs to be displayed vertically stacked.
This can be as dropdown menu, or pinned permanently as ‘Entity Views Sidebar’

Benefit:

Users can now see approx 30 tabs vertically stacked, and when scrolling even unlimited amount of tabs visible.

Thoughts on a better design of the Entity Views system:

A more robust solution: If I was a developer of fibery, I would redesign the Entity Tabs to be entities themselves, so they can be shown vertically.
That would also have the benefit that the Entity Views have their ow URL and can be directly linked to, which is now impossible
I tried to create that using a dedicated database ‘Entity View’, but then child entities of those Entity View entities lose the context of the parent; at least I was not able to make that work through filters.

If you pin a single entity view, the rest will be available in a dropdown.

What I mean is to have the option to permanently show them vertically, just the way horizontal entity view tabs are shown permanently when pinned. I did not mean only a dropdown menu one has to click on to expose, so I used the wrong term, sorry.
The vertical menu should not overlap the content, but appears at the left as a column (when that option is set).

The purpose is for non-technical users to not have to click two times to see a particular entity view.
I myself try to reduce clicks and have the relevant info visible.
Relevant for me is that I directly see the main entity content sections / field groups, which now are made possible through Entity Views tabs.

Ideally I like to see tabs that open up the specific entity view in the right panel, but as a workaround pinned vertical tabs would come close to that (although taking space).
