Drag and drop to re-rank works, and bulk edit (within a single database) works, and it’s possible to select multiple items in a (list) view, but the combination of the three ideas doesn’t work: it’s not possible to drag multiple selected items to a new rank. So this feature request is to make it work.
Without this, it is very time-consuming to work with many items in a large backlog. (At minimum this is going to make our initial data import painful. But I wonder how other people manage their backlogs, without this?)
