Looking at this spec: Fibery, and thinking about how files may work in more complex scenarios.
It would be lovely to be able to drag and drop files into a view that contains entities with file fields, and it would then either:
“Single File” Field: Create a new entity per file
“Multiple Files” Field: Popup with question for either: “Create a new entity per file” (same as above) or “Create one entity with all the files”
This mechanism (specifically the first one) would allow us to make a “File” database. Then with that, as all relation views with a Files Relation would allow the user to drag and drop new files into the Relation View, and would create new entities.
Not sure if it’s could fit in the scope, but this would really take files to the next level and allow it to be used in more complex workflows, while still keeping the simple ones easy to set up.
