It would be amazing to be able to build Fibery Apps with external AI tools like Claude code and Codex to not only rely on the provided AI credits. Credits run out extremely fast when building apps. In my experience I ran out after the first prompt in the App builder and ended up with an unfinished app that did not even build. At least on the standard plan.
Being able to use external coding agents would also follow fiberys announced vision on AI.
This is in plans, we do want to allow import/export files for apps and open it up for external dev tools
That’s great to hear! I also think it could benefit from a set of defined skills or predefined agents so the coding agent knows how to structure and build Fibery apps specifically. Especially since it needs to have the app integrate with fibery databases and access controls.

The custom apps don’t really manage any access controls - they just rely on the existing (server-side) access controls being applied for whomever is using the app.
