# Whiteboard: Allow boards and docs to be insterted as with cards

When I am creating a whiteboard I want to be able to link to boards, tables, charts and docs so I can direct people to different parts of Fibery using “Insert card” and within rich text and I want to be able to see back references to the whiteboard from the linked resources too.

Views placing will arrive with the new selector, that we are currently developing 😉

As for the back references - cool idea, didn’t think about it. Will discuss and see, what we can do.

I agree, linking to docs especially was one of the first things I looked for in Whiteboard. And I think virtually any place there is a mention/link to an entity/item (e.g. doc, task), it should have the back reference.
